How do I book a party rental from Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals?
Book online 24/7 at just4jumps.com. Start by selecting your event date, then browse available inventory. Add equipment to your cart, enter your event details to calculate delivery fees, and pay a deposit at checkout to hold your reservation. You'll receive a confirmation email immediately after ordering. You can also call (219) 779-0411 with questions before or after booking.
Is a deposit required and how much is it?
Yes. A deposit is required to hold your reservation and your equipment. Deposits are typically 25% of your total rental cost with a minimum of $50, though amounts may vary based on the volume of equipment reserved. A credit card is required for the deposit payment.
What is the cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable, but how they are handled depends on timing:
- Cancel 6 or more days before your event: deposit converts to credit toward a new date within one year.
- Cancel within 0 to 5 days of your event: deposit is forfeited.
- Once the delivery truck leaves the warehouse: full payment is required, no exceptions.

How long is the standard rental period?
Standard rentals include a 6-hour rental window that covers our 2-hour delivery window. Additional hours can be added at $15 per hour for most items. Multi-day and overnight rentals are available and the system will automatically calculate the discounted rate at checkout.
When booking, we recommend selecting your event start time at least 2 hours ahead of when guests arrive. This ensures delivery is complete and the equipment is ready before the party begins.
Do you offer discounts for renting multiple units?
Yes. Custom packages are available depending on your location and rental needs, subject to availability. Multi-day rentals receive an automatic discount calculated at checkout. Call (219) 779-0411 to discuss a package quote for larger events such as school carnivals or company picnic events.
Can I make changes to my order after booking?
Contact the office as soon as possible if you need to make any changes. Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals cannot guarantee changes after an order is completed but will do everything possible to accommodate requests made well in advance of your event date. Is delivery and setup included in the rental price?
Delivery and setup are included at no charge within our standard service area. A surcharge applies for locations beyond the standard delivery radius. A $50 time-restriction fee applies if you need delivery at a specific time outside the standard window. Tables and chairs are delivered curbside only unless a setup fee has been paid at checkout.
What time will the delivery crew arrive?
Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals creates delivery routes in advance to keep things efficient. Your delivery window is calculated at checkout based on the time you select and up to 2 hours after. The crew will contact you if they need to adjust outside that window.
The homeowner or a designated adult must be present during delivery. If no one is home during the delivery window, the crew moves on to the next stop. Redelivery can be attempted at the end of the route for a $150 redelivery fee covering fuel and labor.
What do I need to do before the delivery crew arrives?
To make setup fast and smooth:
- Measure your space and confirm the equipment will fit before delivery day.
- Mow your lawn the day before (not the same day, to keep the unit clean).
- If you have a dog, clear the yard of pet waste before the crew arrives.
- Test your outdoor outlet before delivery to confirm it is working.
- If renting a water slide, avoid watering the lawn for a few days beforehand.
- Make sure your gate is wide enough for the equipment being delivered.
- If the billing address and delivery address differ, the cardholder must be present at delivery with the card and a matching ID.
How much space do I need for a bounce house?
Required setup dimensions are listed on each individual product page. The area must be flat, free of debris, and clear of low-hanging branches. If the equipment does not fit in the space provided at the time of booking, no refund will be issued. Confirm your measurements against the product specs before placing your order.
If you have an in-ground sprinkler system, disable the timer before delivery. Our crew will not move your belongings or furniture to create a setup area.
Can I have a bounce house or inflatable at a park or forest preserve?
Yes. Contact the park or forest preserve well in advance. Many locations require a permit to set up inflatables, which can take up to 10 days to process. Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals can provide a certificate of insurance for your permit application. It is your responsibility to confirm power availability at the park before booking. If power is insufficient or unavailable, no refund or exchange will be given. A generator can be added for an additional fee.
Who handles Indiana's underground utility marking requirements?
Indiana law (IC 8-1-26) requires contacting Indiana 811 at least two full business days before any ground staking. Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals registers a ticket for every staked inflatable rental as part of the booking process. Utility locators will visit the property and mark underground lines 24 to 48 hours before your event. This is a free service you do not need to arrange. Please unlock any gates so the locator can access the yard.
Locators typically spray-paint grass to mark utility lines and sometimes use flags. If visible markings are a concern, note that in your order comments.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals monitors weather via weather.com and reserves the right to cancel for safety at any time. Weather cancellations convert to a full raincheck credit valid for one year from your original event date. The raincheck covers all monies paid.
What happens if it rains on my event day?
If rain probability is 50% or higher during your event window and you do not have indoor space to move the rental, Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals reserves the right to cancel for a raincheck. Weather is monitored 12 to 24 hours before your event, and a final decision is made before delivery. If conditions allow, every effort is made to proceed.
What wind speed makes an inflatable unsafe?
Inflatables cannot be used in sustained winds exceeding 20 mph. Tents have a lower threshold of 15 mph. If the forecast calls for high winds, Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals will contact you to cancel or reschedule. You will receive a raincheck for any cancelled event valid for one year from the original date.
What happens if it gets too cold?
If temperatures are expected to drop below 32 degrees at any point during your event, Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals will call the morning of your event to cancel or reschedule. A raincheck valid for one year will be issued. In some cases, the event can be moved indoors or the equipment can be swapped for indoor-appropriate items.
Does Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals carry liability insurance?
Yes. Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals carries a full liability insurance policy. All renters are required to sign a rental agreement before equipment is set up. Equipment will not be inflated or installed until the agreement is signed.
For corporate events, schools, churches, and park events, the sponsoring organization can be added as an additional insured party for an administration fee. Call (219) 779-0411 to request a certificate of insurance for your venue.
How safe are inflatable bounce houses and moonwalks?
All inflatables in the Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals inventory are safety-rated and built with fire-retardant commercial-grade vinyl. Every unit is inspected and cleaned between rentals. Rental agreements include complete safety guidelines. Following those rules and maintaining adult supervision at all times is the most important factor in safe inflatable use.

What are the safety rules for using a bounce house?
Safety rules for every inflatable rental:
- Adult supervision at all times when children are in or near the unit.
- Remove shoes before entering. No footwear of any kind inside.
- No food, drinks, candy, gum, or lollipops inside the unit.
- No silly string, markers, or crayons near any inflatable. Silly string causes permanent damage to vinyl.
- No sharp objects, belt buckles, pens, or jewelry that could puncture the material.
- No pets inside or on the inflatable at any time.
- No horseplay, flips, or roughhousing.
- Do not exceed posted weight or rider capacity limits.
- Do not move the unit from its installed location.
- Keep the inflatable away from fireworks, even if neighbors are using them.

Are the inflatables clean?
Yes. Every inflatable and piece of event equipment is cleaned and sanitized after each rental using non-toxic cleaning solutions. Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals inspects every unit before it leaves for delivery.
Can the company or organization sponsoring my event be listed on your insurance?

Is it okay to tip the delivery crew?
Absolutely. The crew works weekends setting up and taking down heavy equipment at multiple locations. If they do a great job at your event, they appreciate knowing it.
What power source does a bounce house require?
Most inflatables require a standard 110V outlet within 60 feet of the setup location. Do not share the circuit with other appliances while the blower is running. Some larger units may require multiple outlets on separate circuits. Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals supplies the power cord.
A generator can be added as an add-on for locations without accessible power, such as parks or open fields. We require a generator if your setup needs more than 3 blowers.
Will the bounce house damage my lawn?
Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals cannot guarantee that inflatables will not affect your lawn. In most cases the grass will be temporarily flattened and should recover within a few days. No permanent damage is typical for a single-day rental on healthy grass.
My yard has a narrow gate. Can you still deliver?
It depends on the unit. Inflatables are delivered deflated and carried through the gate, so many units can fit through a 36-inch opening. Larger combo units, water slides, and obstacle courses may need a wider path. Do I need to clean the bounce house when the party is over?
You do not need to clean it. Before pickup, check the unit for any personal items left inside and remove them. Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals is not responsible for items left in or on the equipment. Please return the unit in the condition it was received. Additional cleaning fees apply if the equipment requires extra cleaning beyond normal use.
What is the difference between a bounce house, combo unit, and obstacle course?
A standard bounce house is an enclosed bounce chamber. A combo unit adds a built-in slide, basketball hoop, or other features to the bounce chamber. An obstacle course is a linear inflatable that kids run through from one end to the other, with tunnels, climbing walls, and slides. Combos are the most popular for birthday parties. Obstacle courses work best for older kids and competitive group events.
What age range are bounce houses best for?
Standard bounce houses work well for ages 3 to 12. Toddler-specific units are a safer choice for children under 3, with lower walls and gentler entry ramps. Combo bouncers with slides suit ages 4 to 14. Obstacle courses are popular from age 6 through adult depending on the unit. When multiple age groups are present, separating younger and older kids into separate jump sessions reduces collision risk significantly.
Can adults use bounce houses?
Adults can use bounce houses as long as the posted weight capacity is not exceeded. Adult supervision inside the unit at the same time as young children is not recommended due to the size and weight difference. Check the weight limit listed on each unit before adults participate.
How do I reserve the specific bounce house theme I want?
Reserve online as early as possible, especially for summer weekends. When booking, Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals guarantees that the specific unit reserved will be the one delivered, not a substitute. What do I need to set up a water slide in my yard?
You need three things: a flat setup area that matches the unit dimensions, a standard garden hose connection within a reasonable distance of the setup area, and a 110V outlet within 60 feet for the blower. Just 4 Jumps Event Rentals connects the hose and sets everything up. Avoid watering your lawn for a few days before the rental. Well water is not permitted for water slide use.
Can I add water to a dry inflatable slide?
No. Dry slides and wet water slides are built differently. Adding water to a dry slide causes serious and permanent damage to the inflatable material and will result in significant additional charges. Never add water to a unit that was rented as a dry slide.
Are water slides safe for young children?
It depends on the specific unit. Smaller wet combo units work well for children ages 3 and up with adult supervision. Taller water slides are best for ages 5 and up. Age and size recommendations are listed on each individual product page. When mixing age groups, consider adding a toddler-appropriate wet unit alongside a larger slide.
Can my school, church, or organization be added to your insurance for our event?

School carnivals benefit from equipment that handles continuous use across all age groups.
